Today I want to talk about Sendinblue, a great, inexpensive marketing service that I’ve used for the past two years now.
What Is Sendinblue?
Sendinblue is a digital marketing platform that allows individuals and businesses to send marketing materials, like newsletters or announcements, via email or SMS. The platform even has a chat function now that allows your customers to chat with you.
You can create these manually or setup workflows that will do all the work for you after you create the rules.
Finally, you can use the service to create landing pages, email signup forms, or Facebook ads.
It’s free to get started but to use certain features or functions you will have to sign up for a monthly plan.
How Did I Start Using Sendinblue?
When I created my websites a couple of years ago I wanted a contact form that people could use to reach out to me. Creating the contact form was easy but then came the issue of getting the responses from those forms to me.
WordPress by default does not send emails to you even though it has a mail function built-in. To use it I suggest you install a plugin and the one I recommend, and use, is WP Mail SMTP.
After I installed that plugin I completed the setup which led me to choose an email provider. There are several to choose from but the plugin recommended two, one being Sendinblue.
After checking out the service I saw that they offered a free option where you could send 300 emails per day. Because my websites were new and I didn’t expect that many emails I chose that option.
So Does Sendinblue Work Well For Me?
The platform works very well for me. I’m still on the free plan because my business hasn’t grown where I need the other paid features yet, but I’m still getting great service despite that.
Right now I use the platform to create and send newsletters for my mailing lists along with using it to be my contact form’s mailer. I’m happy with the quality of service I continue to receive, which is why I recommend Sendinblue to others. I say try them out using their free plan before you consider using their non-free options.
